One of the barriers of getting mental health care in rural areas is availability and the ability to travel to appointments and groups. Fortunately, many can now join virtual groups and have tele-health appointments online. The increase in getting care this way has further emphasized the lack of and the critical need for more, affordable access to high-speed internet in our region.
