“Working to improve the mental health system in Isanti County”
Who are we?
The Isanti County LAC is a group of community members, including individuals with lived experience, family members, and mental health providers who work together on issues that affect adults and children with mental health struggles in our community.
The goal of the Local Advisory Council (LAC) is to connect with all community stakeholders to receive feedback on services, as well as gaps and needs. Additionally, we seek feedback to inform improvements and determine what services are working, and where we should focus new development!
What do we do?
- Work together to present ideas to the Region 7E AMHI Governing Board and the Isanti County Board about mental health gaps and needs in our community.
- Share ideas and resources about mental health: local resources and agencies, conferences, training programs, and other information.
