Please join the Minnesota Regional Prevention Coordinators and Public Health Law Center for our webinar series on key public health and prevention issues regarding the new Minnesota law legalizing and commercializing adult-use recreational cannabis.
Date: Monday, October 23, 2023
Time: 12:30 pm – 1:30pm
Despite a requirement that legal cannabis is only allowed for persons age 21 and older, youth will have unprecedented access and exposure to a range of legal and intoxicating products, including the lower-potency edible products made legal in 2022, widespread public use, sale of cannabis products, and legal home cultivation. What are the safeguards to attempt to limit access in state law, and what can be done by communities and individuals to further prevent exposure and access?
Presenters:
Dr. Lynn Silver, Getting it Right from the Start
Rachel Callanan, Public Health Law Center
Moderators:
Patti Miller, Minnesota Regional Prevention Coordinators
Marisa Katz, Public Health Law Center
