Freedom Center is dedicated to providing a comprehensive continuum of care to alcohol and/or drug abusing adults, adolescents and their families.
Freedom Center’s treatment approach is based on experience and research that indicates substance use and mental health disorders are chronic, primary and progressive illnesses which can be managed. That having a substance use or co-occurring disorder is not an identity. That those who suffer can be helped by abstinence from mood altering chemicals, changing one’s lifestyle, developing a clear understanding of the relationship between their addictive and mental health issues, medication management and developing more effective coping mechanisms in mind, body and spirit.
Treatment provides an opportunity for the client to discover and use the resources within themselves, and in their respective communities.
