Spread the word about 988!

September 8th is the 2nd annual 988 Day — a day of action to raise awareness and widely share more about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. For 988 Day, we’re coming together to support 988 and spread the word that compassionate help is available anytime, anywhere.

NAMI is excited to join our partners and advocates nationwide today to raise awareness of 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. 988 Day was created to improve awareness of the lifesaving resource that is the 988 Lifeline. The more people know about 988, the more people know how they can access help and support.

Every person in a mental health crisis deserves a mental health response that connects them to appropriate, quality and timely care. That’s why a top priority for NAMI continues to be reimagining crisis response in our country – including strengthening and spreading awareness of 988.

Celebrate 988 Day by sharing this email with your friends and family, taking action or sharing your story today!
