Hope Through Early Prevention and Intervention

Suicide is a growing public health concern. One of the top priorities at NIMH is to conduct research aimed at reversing the increasing national suicide rate. The goal of NIMH’s efforts is not only to identify at-risk individuals but to help them to improve their quality of life and to prevent suicide attempts.
