Join the conversation: Pathway to ASAM 4 community engagement opportunities

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Unit invites SUD providers and community partners to three opportunities to learn about and share feedback on the Pathway to ASAM 4 initiative.

Pathway to ASAM 4 is Minnesota’s initiative to transition state law from The ASAM Criteria, 3rd Edition to The ASAM Criteria, 4th Edition, the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s updated, nationally recognized, client-centered treatment standards and level of care continuum in the 2028 legislative session. The goal is to build solutions in partnership, ensuring providers, stakeholders and communities help shape the transition

We encourage providers and community partners to attend any or all these sessions to share input and help shape the path forward for ASAM 4 implementation in Minnesota.
