Tina Turner rose up from poverty, adversity, and fought to keep herself

“At every moment, we always have a choice, even if it feels as if we don’t. Sometimes that choice may simply be to think a more positive thought.”
Tina Turner

Tina Turner rose up from poverty, adversity, and fought to keep herself. She survived an abusive marital relationship, attempted suicide, PTSD, and a divorce that left her with nothing but her stage name. She was very public about her trials sharing her soul through her music with inexhaustible energy. Later in life she found her soulmate and lived a quieter life though having to deal with many medical issues.

Gosh, not that we can all accomplish what she did, but think we can also try to make our lives a little better if we too, on a bad day, make that choice to simply think a more positive thought. 🙂
