Ascent Wellness is hosting a workshop called "Rooted & Resilient," specifically designed for parents navigating the intersection of neurodivergence and mental health needs in their children.
Workshop Overview: Raising a child with complex needs, such as Autism, ADHD, anxiety, or depression, comes with unique challenges. This workshop provides a safe space for parents to:
- Explore and understand their child’s symptoms.
- Strengthen practical skills for navigating daily struggles.
- Build resilience and learn vital strategies for safety and suicide prevention.
To provide a grounding and restorative experience, parents will create a custom take-home planter while we work through these strategies. All materials and education are provided at no cost through grant funding.
