Plum Behavioral HealthWe are glad you are here. Taking this step, looking for support, wanting to do things differently, matters. This program is designed for parents just like you.

Is This Program for Me?

This program is designed for parents and caregivers who are managing mental health challenges alongside the demands of parenting. You may be a great fit if any of the following apply to you:

  • You have a current or past mental health diagnosis or history
  • You have had involvement with Child Protective Services (CPS)
  • You are dealing with housing stress or instability
  • You are parenting mostly on your own without much support
  • You are managing financial stress that affects your family
  • You are in recovery from substance use
  • You just want to be a better parent and could use some support

This program is available to residents of Mille Lacs, Kanabec, Pine, Isanti, and Chisago counties in Minnesota only.  It is funded through the Region 7E Adult Mental Health Initiative and offered at no cost to participants.

You do not need a referral to apply. County referrals are also welcome. If you are unsure whether you qualify, fill out the form anyway — we will figure it out together.

Filling out the form on our website takes about 10 minutes. After you submit, someone from Plum Behavioral Health Services will contact you within 3–5 business days to talk about the program and next steps. There is no obligation and no pressure — just a conversation.
